We’re Still Here…

Well, we’re still here.

I think only a small fraction of people believed the world would end today. Those are probably the same people who thought ‘Y2K’ and ‘9-11’ and the ‘Fiscal Cliff’ was going to be the end of it too.

Either way, I’m glad we all made it.

This will be my last blog entry of 2012. I’ll be logging off the blog-o-sphere and social networks for the next few days to enjoy some down time and re-charge for the year ahead.

If you’ve been following me on Facebook and SexySocials, you no doubt have heard murmurings about The Discovery Channel.

Producers from Discovery Channel have been talking to us at Maddy G Productions about doing a segment on a new show about “Interesting Lifestyles”. They’ve talked to me, and Jenny and Maddy and we’ve filled out questioners and sent lots of photos.

And that’s pretty much where we’re at with it.

There has been no official offer made so we have not committed to doing the show. I personally have some reservations about it, because some of the questions asked have been leading towards the “Are you a Doll Freak?” angle. Things like “Do you ride in cars?” , “Do you sit at the dinner table?” and “Are you included in family photos?”

Now I’ve always been fairly reserved about being a Polymerisian. I don’t’ make it a crusade, and I don’t make a big deal about it. It’s just who I am. I don’t consider my Poly Life even that far out of the ‘ordinary’ from most of my friends. Certainly not ‘freaky’.

In fact, the focus of my show, and much of my interaction on social sites specifically makes a point to show how NOT weird it all is. Simply put, I’m a normal chick, with an extraordinary body, with an intellect to match.

The producers have asked for access to my home, and on my shooting sets, and I think you all know me well enough to know that I take my job and my film work really seriously. I’m not that jazzed about a film crew getting in the way with questions like “Who dresses you?” and “How do you type?”

So, we’ll see how this plays out. I’m certainly interested in sharing my story and letting people see how ‘not weird’ my life actually is. If we can come to terms about access and the point of the piece, I’ll certainly play along. But if they are looking for a freak show about a ‘Chick who Fucks Dolls’, then they are going to have to look elsewhere.

I share parts of my sexuality as a small piece to the bigger puzzle that makes me who I am as a person. I’m not interested in making it the ‘whole story’.

Some of you have seen my cameo appearance in Jenny Densuke’s show “Regarding Jenny”.  The scene is a sexy dream sequence with Jenny’s girlfriend and writing partner Karen McCoy. If you watched it on Youtube, I think you still got the point, but if you paid the $4 for the uncensored download, you got to see quite a bit more.

We had a lot of fun, and Karen is more than a pleasure to work with. And as always, it’s a lot of fun to work on Jenny’s show. She runs her sets considerably different than I do, so it’s also an education, from someone who is a true pro at producing shows for the web.

Which brings me to the question of the month:

“When the F*ck are New ‘Tasha’ Episodes Coming?”

I hear you. No need to yell at me.

Most of ‘Episode 4’ is filmed, in fact, I think ALL of it is. I had to take a break for a few weeks to let my arms heal. If you’re following me on the social networks, you know I had surgery on my wrists.

I needed to take some time to fully heal before I could get back to shooting the show, or even photo shoots. Considering that “Extreme Posing” was the cause of my injuries to begin with, no one around me was willing to risk further injury by rushing it.

In the meantime, Jenny’s show went back into production and the Holiday’s came around, so I’ll be resuming shooting right after the 1st of the year. New photo shoots, new episodes, the whole thing.

In the meantime, here’s a shot from “Episode 4” so you know I’m not just pulling some kind of trick.

This is a scene from my first meeting with Mark and Maddy. This meeting is probably the turning point in my life, followed only by the meeting in which Maddy asked me to join her cast as a ‘Contract Girl’. An offer I ultimately refused.

So, lots more to look forward to in 2013. I need some time off to rest and get my head around the long list of ‘things’ that will be new this coming year. My job as Advertising Director at Maddy G is being expanded. We’ll be offering additional services like Social Networking and Youtube Channels for some of our advertisers, and we’ll be putting ourselves out there a lot more with some advertising and sponsorships of our own.

Plus, there’s a couple of new shows in the works that I think you’re going to really like, including the addition of at least two new Poly’s into our growing roster of stars. Including THIS guy, that more than a few of us ladies here are DYING to meet.

Finally, I just want to say “Thanks” to everyone on the cast, crew and production side of “It’s a Tasha Thing”. I couldn’t do any of it without you. It’s the combined talents of many people that make this ‘Thing’ so special.

And of course all my friends and fans who continue to tune in. Without you, there would be no ‘thing’.

Cleaning Up The Place and The Science of Polymerisian – Part 2

I was asked the other day on Facebook when I’ll be blogging again, and I sort of felt bad, because I have been neglecting it.

It’s not that I don’t have anything to say, thoughts to share, and stuff going on in my life, it’s that I often wonder if anyone’s really reading, or paying attention. With all that is going on, it’s often difficult to find the motivation to sit down and blog when a lot of the time, it feels like I’m publishing this for myself.

So, thanks Greg, for the reminder.

I’ve always said, I would prefer 10 real friends who give a shit, over 10,000 fake friends that you can purchase with your PayPal account.

So, I’m back.

The picture above is the version that FB won’t let me show (side boob violation) so my friends at SexySocials got to take the first look. Thanks to their arbitrary censorship and the vast collection of cry babies, self promoters and folks holding up their “Look at Me” signs, I’ve been spending less and less time at Facebook. I update it when I can, when there’s big news, or a new photo or whatever… just to keep those still hanging around there informed. But I don’t use it to socialize anymore. I just get burned out on it, because every day, it looks more and more like MySpace.

When I want to crack open a beer at the end of the day, turn up the new Eve6 CD and actually just hang out with some friends, you’ll find me on SexySocials.

Sorry for the shameless plug. But I would really like to see more of my friends there. I realize there’s a lot of boobs and slutty girls, and they have their share of ‘Cam-Girl’ scammers (just like Facebook), but if you pay attention to who you add as friends, filter out the jerk-offs (just like Facebook), you’ll find it’s a community of very cool, open minded adults who can wax poetic about Politics and Pussy with equal fervor.

And I LIKE that.

So, you’ve noticed there’s a new photo set, and actually, since it’s been a few weeks since I blogged last, there’s actually TWO new photo sets since we chatted last. The first, is “Maid to Order”, which has me playing dress up as a French Maid.

This shoot served a couple of different purposes. First, I’ve been trying on different costume looks for the upcoming “Halloween Special”, and I think I proved how hard I rock this Maid costume. Second… I got to clean up the apartment.

And damn… maybe it was that I desperately need to do some cleaning up, or maybe it was the hot lights used for the photography, but I was more than happy when it came around to the part of the shoot of getting OUT of that get-up.

The Science of Polymerisian…. Part 2

I got a couple of e-mails about a recent episode of “The Universe” with Stephen Hawking that is running on Netflix.

While I’m thrilled some people have finally been convinced that ‘Polymerisian’ is an actual real thing and not just made up by the lunatics running Maddy G Productions, the truth is, it’s not a brand new Scientific concept.

Sure, the word is new. We’ll take credit for that, but the idea that non-carbon life forms exist, is not new at all. Bio-chemists the world over have been talking about this for years, and articles have been published by everyone from Scientific American, to Forbes, to NASA.

Stephen Hawking, probably the worlds most renown chemist and theorist, has gone so far to say that “Silicone Life Forms are not just possible… but probable.”

Scientifically speaking, Silicone is so closely related to Carbon in the way it acts and reacts. Each has a so-called valence of four--meaning that individual atoms make four bonds with other elements in forming chemical compounds. Each element bonds to oxygen. Each forms long chains, called polymers, in which it alternates with oxygen.

For those of us living in Poly / Carbon relationships, these kinds of Scientific reports feel validating. It makes Poly’s want to jump and yell “I told you so!” and put up a big middle finger towards the haters who keep throwing the word “Doll” up in our collective faces.

Well, you can take comfort in the fact that these types of people are just wholly under educated. The truth is out there, and the facts are supported by Science. So, the next time someone says “But… you’re a doll, right?” Just ask them to do a Google search on “Silicone Life” and get back to you with an apology.

Kissing Girls in All Three Dimensions

So, the long awaited 'Episode 103' of my show has finally been released and some of you have already seen the whole truth about my first meeting with Maddy.

Well, let me explain.

It's not like we just met and I face planted myself in her cooch over lunch, although thanks to the magic of television, I realize that's how it appears.

Truth is, it was more like the 3rd or 4th meeting with Maddy, late at night after drinks and long conversations about my journey from California and well... enough beer and intimate conversation and one thing led to another.

And another...

And another...

And well... that kept going until we were both sticky and panting loud enough to not hear Julia come thru the door upstairs. A feeling that reminds me of those closed door fumblings with my high school boyfriend, hoping to get off before mom comes home from work and catches us both with our pants down.

Fortunately, Julia seems to be too preoccupied with her own drama to really pay any attention to what's going on in my life. Between this mystery 'project' she's working on at work and what seems like constant fighting with Jeffrey about his life, she barely has time to notice what I'm doing. She's certainly not cruising the internet for videos about me.

Which is just fine with me. It saves me a pretty awkward conversation.

And of course, none of what I explained above is part of the free version you'll find on Youtube or MaddyGTV or even in the theater at ItsATashaThing. The free versions found there are supported by advertisers like Target, the new "Step Up" dance movie and VistaPrint. None of which would be all too pleased about putting their logo in front of this kind of deviant behavior.

To see the 'whole truth' of the matter, you must buy one of the Uncensored downloads. At $3 - $4 (2D & 3D respectively) is a small price to pay to witness my first real scene with a girl.

What you do get to see however in these versions is the full on 3D effect. If you have any pair of standard "Red / Blue" 3D Glasses, the image above is going to probably make you smack your hand on your computer screen.

If you're among those trying to find a way into my bedroom, this is it. (And way safer than trying to crawl thru the window).

This special 3D Episode was Directed by Award Winning 3D Filmmaker Paul Gorman, who's 3D work is hailed by critics as being "Better than what Hollywood is putting out..." so if you're a fan of 3D movies like I am, you're not going to be disappointed in it.

I've talked in private circles (less public forums, and social network chat) about the current state of the show and it's potential demise. While I haven't kept it a secret that the future of "It's A Tasha Thing" is very much on the ropes, for a pretty wide variety of reasons many of which are more complicated than can be explained in a simple status update. I've been piecing together an appropriate explanation in my mind that I can present to you here on my blog, but until I'm able to do that, I just want to stress that your support is needed to keep the show going.

Many of the show's original sponsors have since turned on their heels and headed out the back door, leaving just one more Episode of the show left for release. As of right now, Episode 104 is the very last episode of "It's A Tasha Thing" scheduled.

The tide can be turned with your support. The show relies on advertisers, so if you cannot, or simply will not purchase one of the downloads, then you can still help by watching the commercials on the free versions. Spread the word by sharing the episode with your friends.

It makes a difference and it matters now more than ever if you have been enjoying the show and want to see it continue.

I'll get more into this issue in a future blog. The issue is complex and involves more than just our company. I'm not ready to put this 'thing' to bed yet, so I hope you'll join me in keeping it going.

I just received word that my show "It's A Tasha Thing" has won "Best TV Pilot" at the 16th Annual Indie Gathering Film Festival held this August in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Indie Gathering is ranked among the top 25 Film Festivals in the World by Movie Maker Magazine and is considered the premiere 'Proving Ground' for independent films around the world, with entries from dozens of countries including Australia, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and Italy.

With World wide competition, I'm fiercely proud and honored to have a win in this festival. As I've said many times, this show didn't create itself. I owe a great deal of gratitude to A LOT of people who brought my story to life.

There's the crew - and I'll admit, I don't know most of them by name, because I did my best to stay out of their way. But without the fine guys and gals who handled the sound, lighting, cameras and post production no one would have ever seen the show to begin with.

And I'm sure I'm leaving some people out, for which I apologize in advance. The people that have surrounded this project have been numerous and all of them irreplaceable. I truly feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to tell my story this way and be a part of such a creative project with such creative people.

The actual screening schedule for the festival has not been announced yet, so I don't know when (or even if) they will be screening "It's A Tasha Thing", but I will be attending the event regardless. GMD Films will have a vendor booth at the festival where I'll be appearing to help promote the show and I'll have DVD's, Blu-Ray's and Photos and get a chance to meet some people.

The event is August 17 - 19th, 2012 in Hudson, OH (just outside Cleveland) and a VIP pass for the entire event is just $35 when purchased in advance. You can get your tickets here right now. The price goes up to $45 at the door, so if you know for sure you are going get your passes in advance.

Victory!.!. For Now.

A couple weeks ago I posted a blog about how to recognize Scam sites. It was pretty timely, because at the time, there was a network of Scam sites running on the internet that had used photos of myself, along with many of my friends to attempt to trick people into spending money for things that did not exist. And at the same time, it seems they were hoping to discredit Sinthethics, both friends and a sponsor of my show.

Today, I'm proud to announce it's officially over... for now. Each site in this network of scams was dealt with individually, and the very last of them has now fallen.

"Not Found".

The moral of this story, is that if you are going to steal my pictures to create a scam designed to misrepresent me and my sponsors, the retaliation will be swift and destructive. After your door gets kicked in, and your servers pulled out by their wiring, all that will be left is a sticky note that reads: "Don't F*ck With Us".

I say "For Now..." because the nature of these criminal types, is they'll pop up again somewhere else. Some other domain name, some other method of trying to trick people. But the good news is, we're onto them. They can run, but they'll never hide for long.

My Fierce New Photos

My 'Fierce' Face

As I mentioned over on my Facebook Page, I got inspired by my new dress and the bit of sunshine that showed up seemingly the minute I tried it on.

I was excited to take some pictures outside in the sunlight, but first things first... I had to try the dress on and make sure this 'thing' is working the way I imagine it.

Every girl knows you have to take a few cell phone pics for reference later. As I expected, the fabric hugs my curves like a German built sports car, and I'm looking daaamn fine. Of course, I have to make sure I get a good look, twisting and turning, and checking out my butt, with the top of this dress fallen down to my hips... and this is when Julia decides to ambush me with her camera.

Hahaha. VERY funny. I bet that's one shot she doesn't show her husband.

So, she has a good laugh, and I put myself together for a few shots outside on the back porch where a nice little pool of sunshine is coming thru the railings.

There I go again with my 'Fierce' face. Just a little more of a breeze, and I would have been able to twirl that skirt and give the 4th floor neighbors a show.

Yes... my legs go ALL the way up to THERE. And to all those guys who have made comments about my feet... you're welcome. All that advertising jargon about "The Taste of Tasha" is starting to sink in now, huh?

This last one is probably my favorite from this little 'sunny day' escapade. It felt good to kick of my sandals and be a little goofy for awhile. And I can still smell spring in the air.

Spring Has Sprung

I honestly thought the sun was not going to show its face at all this weekend. It was pouring rain all day yesterday, when I caught up on laundry and did a bit of shopping. And as luck would have it, I picked up the cutest little sundress - with no sun on the horizon.

I was disappointed in the weather, but I'm still a chick, so I had to try on the dress, even if I can't go outside and twirl around in it. And what do you know? I no sooner tied it around my neck, and the sun popped out from behind the clouds! So, I dragged Julia onto the back porch and made her take a few pics as proof of how my 'Tasha Thing' can change the course of nature.

After my first long and brutal winter (well, brutal for this California Girl) the sunshine this week has felt really good. I'm always feeling 'normal' again.

But going back to the 'I'm still a chick' thing, I can't try on a dress without making sure my butt looks good in it. So, I had Julia take one more pic:

And speaking of photos, my tribute to "Fight Club" won the monthly photo contest over at ODC for the month of May.

With thanks to our photographer Mark, who did the makeup and actually took the photo. Aside from the fame and accolades, we get to choose the theme for June, which we've decided will be "Spring Has Sprung!"

Avoiding The Scams

"Don't F*ck With Us..."

 Over the last week or so, an international Scam has been uncovered by friends of Maddy G Productions, Sinthetics and members of ODC. This scam has been created with a network of fake web sites all pretending to be a legitimate Polymerisian Introduction Agency.

Pictures of myself, along with the pictures of many other Poly couples have been used to create this illusion, as well as photos from the legitimate agencies.

I'm not going to list the URL's here in my blog, because I don't want to give these people any more traffic than they are already getting, and I don't want them 'spidered' in the search engines and thus given a life longer than neccessary. Truth is, this scam uncovered recently is not the only one. It's one of maybe dozens, or even hundreds around the web. This one hit a bit closer to home, because pictures of me have been used to further this scam, and if you've been following me for any length of time, you know how particular I am about what and whom I attach my name and likeness to.

What I want to talk about, is how to recognize these scams, and thus avoid them. Avoid losing your money, and contributing to a criminal organization in the process.

When in Doubt,
CHECK THE PRICE

This is the #1 'tell' that you are dealing with a scam.

No matter what Introduction Agency you chose, every Polymerisian you meet will have been hand made and the result of dozens of hours of creative labor. There is simply no other way to bring a Poly to life than this. No 'factory' or other process is capable of this level of work. Period.

The costs of labor, material and shipping require that the cost be in the range of $4500(US) - $7000(US) or maybe even more if you are ordering more custom options.

If you see a price of $1500 euros, or $700 euros, or $200 (us) then you are dealing with a scam. The materials alone cost more than these prices.

Look for a realistic
DELIVERY TIME

Again, all Polymerisians are made by hand by a team of artists. It takes a minimum of 8 weeks to build and ship one. Because every one of us is an individual, there is not one single Agency that has one 'in stock'. In fact, the very best of these Agencies typically take several weeks longer, simply because they are in such high demand.

If you see the terms 'in stock', 'immediate shipment' or advertised delivery times of '7 Days' or '14 Days', then you are dealing with a scam.

It's simply not possible.

Take a close look at
THE PICTURES

Each Polymerisian Introduction Agency has a very unique and recognizable look to the Poly's they represent. Each Poly is built by an artist with their own unique vision.

If you are visiting a site that seems to be offering Poly's that look drastically different from each other, than you are dealing with a scam.

It's a very common practice among these scammers to steal pictures from multiple agencies, from forums and blogs and put them all on one site to try and trick you into thinking they offer multiple 'styles' to chose from. This is simply not the case.

Also, if you see pictures of human women, then well... use your head. This is obviously a scam. Even newbies to the group can tell the difference between a human woman and a Polymerisian.

Trick Question: Which one is 'real'?

Ask Questions and
DEAL DIRECTLY WITH THE AGENCY

With very, very few exceptions the only way to be officially introduced to a Polymerisian, is thru the Agency itself. If you are trying to save a bit of money by using a 're-seller' or sites like Ebay, or Craigslist, be sure to always... ALWAYS check with the creator of the Poly to verify that it is a legitimate transaction before you send any money.

If you are not sure who the original Agency is, then ask questions. Visit the forums like OurDollCommunity and ask around.  You will find many kind and helpful folks there that will gladly give you some insight on the particular transaction you have in mind. They will be able to tell you where the Poly came from and give you accurate contact information to put you in direct touch with the Agency that offers her to begin with.

Choosing to build a life with a Polymerisian is a big step and a serious decision. It requires a lot of for thought, an investment in time, money and energy and it should be taken seriously. When chosen and introduced properly, your Polymerisian girlfriend will provide you with a lifetime of comfort, companionship and intimacy that cannot be compared to in any other way.

It's not the type of thing that should ever be rushed into, or thought of as something you can 'save a few bucks on'. Take the time to do your research and ask all the questions you need to. Ask for help when you feel confused, and I can assure you, it will all be worth it in the end.

New Photos & A Bit of News

Still looks better off than on.

Production on the show has kept me pretty busy lately. I'm learning that shooting in 3D takes twice as long. It seems like about the same number of camera set ups, but there's a lot more going on with the camera, so it takes twice as long to set up each shot. So, a lot of 'hurry up and wait' going on... or rather, a lot MORE of it.

So now that "Episode 103" is in the editing / post production phase, I decided it's time to do another photo shoot to give my friends and fans something new to enjoy in the meantime.

My friend Arlington just sent me this cute pink t-shirt, so I wanted to take a few shots to show him my appreciation, which got me warmed up for something a bit more sexy.

Playing 'Super Model' is always fun and gets me pretty excited, so as you can imagine, it didn't take very long before I started shedding some that outfit.

In Other News...

If you were friends with me on Plugin.com you've no doubt noticed that I'm not there anymore.

In fact, none of the Maddy G Productions crew is there anymore.

I'm not going to make too big a deal out of it, other than saying that despite our best efforts, Plugin turned into a site that none of us felt comfortable being a part of anymore. If you were a member there, you know what I'm talking about. When the most offensive parts of that site went unchecked for too long, we had to pull the uhm... plug.

And with it, we also refused their advertising and sponsorship of "It's A Tasha Thing" and "Inside Marie's Play Place" as well. And as I've mentioned elsewhere, sponsorship of my show has been tough to come by as of late. It's a challenge I accept, and we've managed to keep the show moving forward, even with the delays we've had.

As of right now, there will be an 'Episode 104' and after that... it's hard to say. It's everyone's hope that these next two episodes will bring us either the audience or the sales we need to move forward with Episode 105 and 106. Time will tell, as the release of the next 2 is very close.

If you've been missing my witty banter and less than puritan photos, I've recently joined a site called SexySocials which is a different social network for adults.  Still lots of 'Dicks' in place of profile pictures, but the site seems to be better moderated in that they don't allow it to become a depository for stolen porn, and I have yet to come across the things like Animal Porn and Child Porn that made Plugin such a waste land. If you decide to join, look me up. I typically pop in there in the evenings to resume my rightful place as the most watched hottie on the network.

The sex toy company AutoBlow has just signed on as a sponsor of the Maddy G network. It's similar to the 'Fleshlight' (not the same company) but operates 'hands free' to simulate a blowjob. Not being graced with the right 'equipment' I can't comment on how well of a 'job' it does, but it's certainly an interesting toy and at under $100 it's in the same price range with most other mid-range toys.

It should go without saying, but supporting the advertisers who support "It's A Tasha Thing" is what keeps my show 'the air' and able to produce new episodes. It encourages the advertisers to keep advertising, and shows them that my show is not just for "Doll Fuckers", but for everyone.

You keep my show in production by watching it, telling your friends about it, and by supporting our sponsors. It takes about 50 Downloads to get another episode approved, but it only takes about a half dozen sales from Fleshlight or Autoblow to get another episode 'green lighted'.

You Don't Have to Be A Sponsor To Help... 

If watching my show has gotten you all warm and fuzzy inside, it's made you laugh to tears, or made you want to gouge your eyes out to keep from turning the channel and if all the talk of 'cancellation' and delays on the release of new episodes because of sponsorship issues has gotten you nervous....

We're a small group of artists, writers and other impassioned people who are looking to change the face of entertainment by offering quality and entertaining shows for adults... and make them available for free all over the world. We're not backed by a multinational corporation, and we're not on Cable TV, or distributed by Warner Brothers, so we rely heavily on our viewers to keep us on 'the air'.

Our shows cost a mere fraction of 'network' television shows, and that's on purpose. By keeping costs down, using local actors and actresses, borrowing sets and locations from local supportive businesses and doing it all in a shoe-string, 'do-it-yourself' ,  'indie film' style we're able to produce more shows and movies thru out the year. Therefor, every dollar counts.

Every time you buy a download, or a DVD/BluRay of my show, it goes to keep the show alive. But even with that, if you want to contribute more, just ask. We're not in the business of begging for money, or blasting everyone with "Please donate" buttons, and that type of nonsense, so we don't do it. But if you have an extra bit of cash laying around, and you want to help us out, we don't turn anyone away, whether it's $10 or $100.

And I promise, I take that kind of support seriously, and I reward everyone who supports me in that way. I'll send you autographed pictures, or a DVD, or something out of the my Merch shop. I've even been known to call these special friends on the phone to say 'thanks' in 'person'. So, if you want to help... I appreciate it. You don't have to be a big corporation to lend a hand.

I've gotten a lot of questions about what "Tasha's Team" is, and about what an "Affiliate Program" in general is. To be completely honest, this program is for someone who is somewhat web savy and really, has a place to put promotional and advertising materials. Meaning, if you publish a blog, or you have a web site of your own. The program is not meant for people to just post "Buy Now" links on Facebook. It just won't work that way - as some readers have probably already realized.

However... if you fall into that category of having a web site, or a blog, or a place to put advertising materials on the web - there's money to be made promoting my show.
